About The Role

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, this role will be involved in;

·The day to day administration of the IT asset (hardware and software) database.Ensuring all moves, adds and deletions are updated.

·Liaison with the Purchasing team regarding IT procurement

·Stock control of IT hardware

·Booking in deliveries of new IT hardware

·Arrangement of IT hardware disposal through approved suppliers

·Updating of incident and request tickets within the Service Management tool

·Project work as required

·Compliance with operational processes (e.g. Incident Management, Request Management, Major Incident Management)

·37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Please note that that while this is a full time position, part time of 30 hours per week may be considered.

About The Candidate

-Previous experience in asset management and IT procurement is desirable

-Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role

-Able to interact confidently with a wide group of users. Strong communication skills required.

-Ability to prioritise own workload

-Educated to GCSE or equivalent.

-ITIL Foundation qualification, nice to have but not essential
