Head of Marketing

Location: Lancashire - Near Preston

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus

Our client is a leading manufacturer of healthcare products who supply their award winning goods across the UK retail market.

We are looking for a director level candidate with strategic experience and also experience in digital marketing. The main thing is our client is looking for someone with brand experience especially experience of building consumer awareness as they are keen to break into more main stream retailers and need someone who has experience.

Working from their offices based in Preston, you will be creating and driving the marketing strategy across all on and offline channels, with an increasing focus on digital marketing and ecommerce. Accountable for driving commercial performance, establishing clear brand identity and contributing to the overall business strategy to help deliver their business plan.


·Working with key stakeholders to define brand identity and roll out 12 month brand plan

·Responsible for ensuring all customer touch points have a coherent brand message

·Responsible for management of PR agency to ensure KPIs are being realistically agreed and managed

·In-house management of trade PR, ensuring all activity is effectively communicated to UK customers

·Developing and improving the design of internal communications, such as the documents used for recruitment and induction, newsletters

·Communication of company values through all marketing communications

·Managing production of marketing materials, including brochures, leaflets, posters, price lists, POS and arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials

·Ensure marketing communication plans are carried out on time

·Produce price lists and complete competitor analysis twice per year and ensure our products are measured against our competitors to maximise sales and profits

·Ensure promotional calendar is effective and delivered against agreed yearly schedule

·Working closely the UK & International sales teams to ensure sufficient marketing support to optimise the brand in store

·Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media sites, incl: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and the company blog

·Responsible for the management of PR/Media agency to ensure KPI's are being managed and met

·Work closely with the Product Development Manager to identify new products and trends

·Benchmark competitors and research the market to provide design direction to products to ensure maximum brand exposure and communication of the brand values

·Develop and maintain a strong and competitive e-commerce strategy to ensure the development and growth of the brand including; SEO, display, email, content and PP
