Our Houghton Regis based client, is looking for 2 temporary workers to support them in their 1st Line Customer Helpdesk department. This will be for approximately a month or so due to work load. This is a great, award winning company with a great team attitude.

Hourly Rate: 10 - 11ph

Benefits: holiday pay, free parking, on site subsidised canteen

Days/ Hours of Work: Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

Objective of Role:

You will be responsible for assisting the team in taking and helping to resolve 1st line queries to customers in a friendly, professional and helpful manner to resolution.

Duties and responsibilities:

• 1st Line System Support using Service Desk Software (ITSM).

• Provide efficient and effective support to system users.

• Ensure that service desk requests are logged and processed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner.

• Resolving tickets on a 1st line level and where necessary, escalate to more senior IT personnel.

• Undertake any other related work under the direction of the IT Management Team.

Person Specifications:

* Highly motivated with excellent administrative and organisational skills

* Good problem solving and decision making skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Methodical and analytical approach

* Experience with using Sap is an ideal but not an essential

* Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the telephone

* Experience in working in a customer focussed environment

* Strong interest in IT

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
