An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bank post to support the Staffing Coordinators. The role is very varied and requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and multitasking is essential. You must be able to work flexibly (including weekends & bank holidays) in response to the needs of the service and adapt to its changing aspects. An excellent telephone manner is essential in dealing with members of the public and healthcare professionals. Call centre or call handling experience would therefore be an advantage. There will be Long periods of telephone based activity, prolonged periods of sitting and VDU work. A background in staff deployment or a similar setting, with basic understanding of hospital staff groups and recruitment would be an advantage. You must be confident with IT systems and able to learn quickly to navigate the various IT systems in use. You must have a proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with good keyboard skill, excel.
