Children's Community Nurse Band 6 Kao Park, Harlow Part Time - 23 Hours Are you a Registered Children's Nurse with significant experience in a hospital setting looking to move into a community role? Feel Proud You willhold a RSCN/RN (Child) qualification with significant experience working in a hospital or community environmentand with strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach will ensureyou deliver positive experiencestopatientsat every stage of theirhealthcare journey. As the part time Children's Community Nurse, you will have the flexibility to work 3 short days or 2 long days. You will care forpatientsand their families in the way thatyou believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing bestpractice, and actively improving the way we work to help us continue to change things for the better. Working closely with ourchildren's commissioners and colleagues in the Pre-birth to 19 servicesyou willbe involved in supporting & caring for children & young people 0-18 years with acute, chronic & complex health needs. You will also be involved in the work to reduce attendance at the local A&E department and direct work with local GP practices. The role will be based in Harlow HQ but your patients will be in a number of locations across the West Essex area. You will be joining a team that gets excellent feedback from families on a regular basis- 'the whole team has been absolutely amazing & a huge thankyou from us all for the excellent & such kind care we have received. Every patient that comes in to contact with such a lovely team of nurses is in the best hands' Feel Inspired You will be inspired to develop innovative ways of working within a safe & supportive environment. Over the last two years the nursing team has delivered 'winter illness talks' to parents with babies and toddlers in our local children's' centres. The aim is to educate parents so they are more empowered to care for their children when they are ill at home and also know what other services they can access to reduce attendance at the local hospital emergency department.
