TRAUMA & ORTHOPAEDICS CONSULTANT (1 POST) £77,913 - £ 105,042 Applications are invited for this position to complement our current sub-specialty portfolio. A specialist interest in Hip & Knee surgery & trauma is essential. The successful candidate will join our existing team of 11 full time substantive and two part time Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeons, to help maintain the high quality and efficient service we offer. Currently, a Locum Consultant is carrying out the job plan. The Orthopaedic service is delivered from Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley and Corbett Outpatient Centre in Stourbridge. Russells Hall Hospital is a designated Trauma Unit in the Birmingham, Black Country, Hereford and Worcester Trauma Network with the hospital housing all of the specialties required to deliver this service. In trauma and orthopaedic surgery, our aim is to continue to provide a first class service, recognised nationally for clinical and teaching excellence. Applicants should possess the FRCS (Tr & Orth) or equivalent, be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of receiving a Certificate of Completion in Training (CCT) at time of interview.
