Accounts Manager - Plymouth

My client is looking for an Account Manager to run the finance division, initially for maternity cover. You will be the go to person of the office assisting in all things financial, including cash flow.

You will have strong attention to detail, ensuring accounts payable and receivable are kept up to date, completing bookkeeping activities, ensuring all payments to suppliers, employees, insurances, utilities and others as required are processed.

Organising all insurances for company liabilities, premises, and vehicles remains updated and is renewed accordingly. All office utilities including billing processes for electricity/water/internet/telephones.

Preparing financial information in a simple and user friendly way, including payroll and CIS reports, monthly accounting information, VAT information and general accounting figures as required

Supporting wider office efficiency by helping to forward plan and implement office systems, layouts, and procurement of equipment

Careful analysis of financial information so that trends, analysis, risks and opportunities are shared with senior management on a regular basis

Promoting a prudent and responsible approach to cost control so that a culture of efficiency and value for money is established across the Group

Having a strong commercial focus to drive business efficiencies and support profit generating activities, and encouraging all across the business to demonstrate the same commitment

Responding positively to any other reasonable duties and tasks that may be required of you to further the business interest.

You will be at least AAT 4 qualified.
