My client a leading energy provider is looking to engage a Business Analyst on an initial 6-month contract to join them at their location in the North East.

In your role as Business Analyst, you will be involved in a major IT upgrade project. Working with the architect and technical teams you will carry out Stakeholder mapping, Requirements gathering, process and change analysis.

Deliverables

Supports the mapping of the "as is" current functions to documentation to be used in the planning and migration of systems on to new IT platforms.
Facilitates and leads workshops and other change management techniques, such as job observation to understand, evaluate and document existing ('as is') business processes and systems, from simple application processes to highly complex cross-functional and directorate processes.
You will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in working with users to gain an understanding of their systems, tools, and resources, and their associated touchpoints and interface.
Develops and maintains robust relationships with the IT team to ensure effective collaboration and full engagement on all technical matters.
Continuously strives for high levels of user satisfaction with the IT services, ensuring that improvements are continuous, measurable and sustainable.
Help set the standard for new ways of working bringing the high levels of agility and with appropriate controls where necessary.
Maintains strong collaborative relationships with the other EDF Group organisations, ensuring the best of EDF group capabilities are leveraged.Skills & Qualifications: Business Analyst

The ability to transform complex business challenges into coherent requirements documentation
Good communication skills; the ability to convey complex business and technical ideas to senior stakeholders
Experience of running, and documenting the results of, workshops with key stakeholders and IT partners
