Marketing Communications Manager

Our client is seeking an exceptional B2B brand marketer to join their Global Brand Marketing team in London. Reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy and Marketing, this role is responsible for marketing their range of market-leading business publications and industry events.

Key responsibilities:

* Brand management and co-ordination of campaigns and marketing communications activity in support of all their global publications.

* Support the Director in a comprehensive review of their brands' design and identities.

* Develop effective marketing materials to drive business growth, retain and upsell existing customers and capitalise on opportunities to raise awareness of their brands.

* Support the events business to optimise awareness, drive attendance and ensure consistency of brand image and communications.

* Execute print and digital marketing campaigns in support of events and other brand initiatives.

* Gain an understanding of customers and prospects, developing and sharing key customer insights to inform the brand strategy

* Liaise with Events media partnerships and supporting organisations.

* Copywriting and overseeing the creation of marketing content, including videos, social media posts, whitepapers, case studies, infographics and presentations.

* Manage the Global Publications' social media platforms and play an active role in developing their social content strategy.

* Measure campaign and content engagement metrics to continually improve and optimise performance and ROI.

Skills and experience

Essential:

* Minimum 4 years' marketing and communications experience, including some B2B marketing.

* Solutions-focused individual, with ability to prioritise workloads and get things done.

* Strong digital marketing and social media skills.

* Strong copywriter, skilled in positioning and messaging. Superior written and verbal communications skills.

* Well organised with an excellent attention to detail; ability to multitask and manage deadlines.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to form strong working relationships with people at all levels.

* Strong team skills with an emphasis on being able to work in a highly collaborative environment supporting multiple business units.

* Proven experience of overseeing content creation including audiovisual and dynamic web content.

* Strong creative judgement and passion for brand integrity and alignment across all channels.

* Familiarity with analytics platforms and content management systems. Ability to quickly pick up new systems and technologies.

Desirable:

* Experience of supporting/marketing events.

* Degree or professional qualification in marketing/media
