**Customer Insight Analyst**

**Location**: Manchester

**Role Type:** Permanent full time

**Salary:** £26,000 £35,000 + Flexible Benefits

**Working Hours:** 37.50 per week

Ardonagh Group recently acquired Swinton Insurance and formed a division called Atlanta Group that includes Swinton, Carole Nash & Autonet. This has resulted in a huge period of change and transformation in every department of our business.

**What to know about this role?**

The Customer Insight team has been through a change in structure and has now joined the marketing department under new leadership. The team thrives in connecting seemingly unrelated data in brilliant ways to promote organic business growth.

The time in this position is split mainly between working on marketing campaigns, performing pre and post campaign analytics, presenting findings to key stakeholders in the business, and undertaking any other adhoc customer analysis or profiling work as required. : The team consists of the Customer Targeting Manager + 1 Analyst + 1 Senior Analyst + this vacancy

**Who do you report into?**

You will report into the Customer Targeting Manager, he has been in the business for over 6 years and has a passion for developing people and making them successful. He is honest, approachable and likes giving constructive feedback.

**What projects will you be working on?**

The main projects you will be focussing on will be in the marketing team:

1. Marketing effectiveness and attribution: You will run customer data selections for marketing campaigns, using SAS, SQL or similar. Before a campaign, you will liaise with other marketing teams to determine the appropriate selection criteria and test approach. After a campaign, you will analyse the effectiveness of it against key performance indicators and in conjunction with other marketing communications and provide recommendations for future marketing activity.
2. Customer Journey: You will provide analytical support on the effectiveness of customer journey communications (e.g. welcome and renewal messages) and provide the business with insights and recommendations for improvements.
3. You will monitor and review the existing campaign models used by the team, and deliver enhancements and build further models using Emblem, Enterprise Miner or similar.

**What skills & experience do you require?**

- You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerical discipline
- You will have strong analytical/numerical skills and knowledge of a range of statistical techniques: logistic regression, clustering, decision tress, machine learning, uplift modelling, etc
- You will be a good communicator as its not only important to analyse data and provide solutions, but have the ability to communicate results and findings in a professional manner
- You will have experience of one or more of the following analytical tools in a previous role: SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SQL, R, Python, Emblem. SAS being the most important
