Compensation: £30,000-35,000pa

The Position

The Programmes & Technology Business area has been created to manage the technical solutions available that support the whole of the Employment Service Business and develop all internal IT solutions.

What does that mean for you? Essentially you will be part of the team focussing on our HR/Payroll areas looking at our business operations and how we can make this workspace more efficient introducing automated solutions.

Key responsibilities
  • To work with multiple partner organisations to ensure effective delivery of change, building relationships that support the delivery of internal or external solutions/systems/processes
  • Create and maintain Project Document library including Plans and Project Initiation Documentation.
  • Monitor Project Progress within both NHS SBS and client organisation and escalate any impact on tolerance to key stakeholders.
  • Complete proof of concepts and evaluations supporting business case validation.
  • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project, raising awareness of risks in a timely manner to ensure cost-effective and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Ensure that projects are formally closed and capture lessons learnt from all projects and make recommendations for improvements where required.

Essential Skills
  • Prince 2/ITIL preferred, or similar project management qualification
  • 1-2 Years Project management experience
  • Change management experience (Non technical)
  • A proven track record of delivering projects/systems, managing and coordinating delivery from multiple suppliers
  • Natural interest in Robotic process automation
  • Excellent presentation skills

Desirable Skills
  • Execution of Lean and/or Six-sigma operational improvement projects
  • Knowledge of the structure and working of the NHS
  • Understanding of Data protection act (DPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Good understanding of all NHS systems engineering processes and procedures
  • Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365
