Role: Reward Manager

Location: National - outside of London - South West, Midlands, the North, Wales, home working a possibility

Salary: £41,500 - £46,500 per annum or interim £160 per day PAYE circa - some flex depending on experience

Morgan Hunt are supporting our Client, a national Charity, with the recruitment of their Reward Manager. They have an immediate need so have 2x requirements - one is an immediate start interim role, and the other a permanent opportunity. An interim who commences their role next week would of course be able to also apply for the permanent role should they wish to.

In the interim, there are some pieces of work that are underway which will require immediate attention. They require someone who can support on the annual pay award for the Charity, and they also require someone with experience of supporting on pay modelling - the successful applicant will need to come up with proposals based on cost of living increases and that through to implementation. The Charity is also in the process of implementing a new HR system, the interim Reward Manager will need to ensure that the new system has the ability to correctly work with all pay and grading requirements for the organisation, challenging the project team on pay practices and ensuring that the system is fit for purpose from a pay perspective by the time it is launched.

In the longer term the focus is on total reward and embedding the philosophy of this throughout the organisation and all its practices. There will also be a number of strategic projects that you would be involved in - for example, they have just implemented new salary bands, but work still needs to be undertaken on how they will progress members of staff through the bands, they are also looking at a new job evaluation process. Aside from this there will be the day to day operational tasks of dealing with external suppliers of benefits, the total reward piece and line managing 1-2 staff members and any relevant volunteers.
