Page Personnel are working in partnership with a not for profit organisation based in Liverpool City Centre to recruit for a HR Business Partner to join their growing team. The HR Business Partner will build effective relationships with senior leaders in the business and ensure people resource issues are considered as part of all significant decision making across the organisation.

Description

Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
  • Work closely with managers to ensure that management practice and company policies are aligned
  • Provide support across a range of HR issues
  • Participate in and lead relevant projects
  • Identify training needs and undertake training and development courses when needed
  • Assist with the supervision of volunteers and work placement students
  • Keep up to date with external trends and internal and external best practice, and continue to drive improvements in practice and policy across the organisation
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, ensuring legal risks and regulatory compliance are complied with
  • Undertake additional duties, as required, from time to time

Profile

The successful candidate will have:
  • MCIPD, or equivalent educational achievement (Level 7) or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Good generalist understanding of the HR function with knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines (employee engagement and well-being, performance management, diversity etc.)
  • Experience working with managers to create positive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with and leading people from all levels of an organisation
  • Experience resolving complex employee relations issues
