Our client has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their team, this new role has become available due to expansion. The company are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their small and friendly finance team. They are a long-standing team and they want someone who is looking for a long-term career with progression, someone who is highly organised, enthusiastic and adaptable to ideas and change. Our client specialises in luxury branded products and the company have enjoyed huge growth year on year through their website orders.

Job Description:
  • Raising UK and Export sales invoices and credits (volumes can vary)
  • Raising proforma invoices
  • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) invoicing
  • Arranging shipment carriers
  • Helping with other adhoc duties

It would be good to see candidates with:
  • Previous experience in an accounts position
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of exporting procedures would be an advantage
  • Have an excellent written (spelling and grammar) and spoken communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be an advantage although full training will be provided
  • Excellent organisational skills including prioritising and multi-tasking
  • Professional, proactive, positive and 'can-do' attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of international trade would be an advantage but not essential

Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 3.30pm

Salary: £19,000 pa to £21,000 per annum dependent on experience
