Accounts Semi-Senior role for a leading mid tier firm in South London

I am currently recruiting a Accounts Semi-Senior role for a leading mid tier firm in South London with over 60 staff. The firm are one of the largest practices in the area and have excellent connections with High Net Worth Individuals and Construction clients.

Working in a team of 20, the successful Semi Senior will prepare Limited Company accounts alongside corporate and personal tax returns. They will be exposed to sole traders and audit, but the majority of the role will be Limited Company accounts preparation.

The firm have excellent offices, offering free parking alongside a generous annual leave and pension allowance and excellent perks and benefits. Study support IS provided - ACCA.

Accounts Semi-Senior responsibilities:
  • Completing Limited Company Accounts to final draft
  • Able to advise clients on corporate and personal tax
  • Preparing and completing corporate and personal tax returns with little supervision required
  • Presentable with excellent written and oral communications skills due to client contact
  • Good working knowledge of Sage (preferably SAPA)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)

The perfect Semi Senior Accountant will have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are important for this role as the successful Semi Senior Accountant will be working in a client facing role. You must be well presented and able to work well within a team.
