RECRUITMENTIQ are working in partnership with Riverside Truck Rental and are seeking a Mobile HGV Technician.

Mobile HGV Technician required to cover the Wiltshire area.

45 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

£15.00ph plus overtime.

Our large fleet includes a range of waste handling trucks, commercial vehicles and plant machinery.
In order to continue our success, we are looking to recruit a HGV Mobile Technician to cover the Wiltshire area.

As a HGV Mobile Technician you can expect to receive a comprehensive training programme from your initial induction, through to up to date product training and IRTEC licencing.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Routine servicing and MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards.
  • Ensure all vehicles and trailers are maintained to a roadworthy standard.
  • Diagnosing and subsequent repairing of all types of fault.
  • Completing documentation in line accurately with required company standard.
  • Working with colleagues as required to ensure customer service is at a premium.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • HGV Technical qualification - NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent.
  • RCV knowledge/experience preferable.
  • Class 1 or 2 licence preferable.
  • Diagnostic skills on chassis and body.
  • Knowledge of electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience of working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industry.
  • An understanding of excellent customer service in addition to a flexible approach.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience in the Waste/Recycling industry would be an advantage.
  • Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices.
