My client who are a well established UK based service company are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join their team. This role sits within my clients marketing department and is an all encompassing role.

Duties and responsibilities:

The key accountabilities are:
  • Manage and develop the system design to meet our business requirements:
  • Manage system configuration (Salesforce and Pardot) so that it continues to meet business needs, eg. Managing fields, workflow rules, validation rules, triggers, Visual Force pages, email templates, reports and dashboards
  • Maintain and manage an up-to-date log of all issues and tasks
  • Actively research new functionality within Salesforce releases and best practise for continued process improvements
  • Consider our long term business strategy, making recommendations and leading initiatives to ensure the platform grows and best use is made of Salesforce and Pardot functionality
  • Ensure a best practise change delivery process is in place, managing the production and sandbox environments and release strategy.
  • Be the team's 'go-to' contact for queries and ideas for development, actively making changes where possible and translating what's needed into briefs for future development activities
  • Develop and deliver accurate reporting:
  • o Develop accurate reporting solutions to provide colleagues with relevant and insightful reports and dashboards related to Salesforce and Pardot data
  • o Carry out reporting and analysis to support sales and marketing activities, including exception reporting, conversion analysis and pipeline coverage
  • Maintain excellent levels of system administration accuracy:

o Manage and maintain user accounts, including security profiles, transferring record ownership for leavers

o Ensure data integrity and accuracy by enforcing data entry standards and regularly monitoring data quality in Salesforce: proactively identify and work with users to fix duplicate, inconsistent, missing and incorrect data

o Support data import/export requirements

o Ensure data security is maintained

o Troubleshoot issues acting as the liaison with Salesforce Premier+ Support team and internal IT team members
  • Provide exceptional levels of user support:

o Identify and anticipate user training needs from new recruits to on-going refresher training

o Actively monitor adoption and engagement levels, offering help and support to low/non-users and exploring opportunities for process improvement.

o Ensure that users are aware of available functionality, capabilities and potential applications by communicating new features in preparation for the 3 Salesforce releases pa.

o Own and maintain system documentation and comprehensive training materials.

  • SFDC certified administrator in ADM201 with 2 years administration experience (SalesCloud);
  • SFDC certified developer, with ability to read and amend Apex code, Visualforce pages, data-loader, app builder, SOQL code
  • Passionate about Salesforce and Pardot with interest in pursuing Trailhead badges
  • In depth knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel & Power BI
  • Experience of working with large volumes of data with excellent numerical skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking to support report creation and data analysis
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to identify/understand user needs and to produce and communicate solutions in clear, non-technical language.
  • Ability to train new and existing users in classroom or remote environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including presentation, verbal and written communication skills to suit varying audiences
  • Knowledge of Data Protection rules (GDPR regulations 2018).
