We now have KYC (know your customer) roles available in one of the UK's largest and most reputable high street banks.

Pay & Benefits: £17 per hour

Hours of Work: 2.30pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday.

As a KYC Analyst you will have the responsibility for analysing information, completing due diligence and mitigating risk on a daily basis. Other activities will include:
  • To receive, analyse and fulfil the requirements of any required data cleansing activity in line with the ongoing due diligence
  • To complete ongoing due diligence to the required customer due diligence standards and where required manage the customer relationship
  • Ensure compliance with the Group's policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements where appropriate implementing actions to protect the Group's business at all times.
  • Respond to a wide range of Business Manager enquiries, resolving queries and issues satisfactorily.
  • Provide input on reports to management, in an accurate, compliant and timely manner to monitor and control risk effectively suggesting improvements as appropriate.
  • Support as required, project activities in order to ensure they are delivered effectively in line with key milestones.
  • Adapt to and identify changes in systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve operational improvement.
  • Sharing best practice and promoting a Continuous Improvement Culture within the team.
  • Demonstrates compliance with risk policies, processes and measures.
  • Awareness, application and mitigation of risk in everyday decisions; understanding the risk and escalate appropriately.
  • Completion of mandatory risk training
  • Confidently expresses ideas and presents opinions, respecting and valuing other views.
  • Demonstrates adherence with Banking Group values.
  • Is approachable and responds appropriately to business needs.
  • Presents information and messages with clarity, communicating in a way that is meaningful to the audience.
  • Seeks opinions from colleagues to build commitment and engagement.
  • Delivers effective business communications to inform and influence and checks for understanding.
    Technical Knowledge (Proficient)
  • Applies required technical knowledge of Customer Due Diligence.

Skills and competencies required:
  • Must be analytical and have an eye for details
  • Be computer literate and have a good understanding of MS Office
  • Have an understanding of FCA regulations and requirements
  • Be self-motivated
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role could be advantageous
