Admin & Accounts Assistant

An opportunity to join a growing, family run business at an exciting time. Mellcrest, based in Frogmore, St Albans, are hotel suppliers delivering over 1000 products to our customers across the country using our own vehicles and external couriers. Our offices and warehouse are on one main site.

This role consists of a broad range of tasks which will support the Accounts Team and one of the Directors with responsibilities including:
  • Overall assistance with the smooth running of the offices and warehouse
  • Making supplier payments through NatwestBankline
  • Invoicing customers using SAGE
  • HR and H&S support
  • Organising and monitoring maintenance of all utilities & fleet of vehicles
  • Ensuring offices are well stocked of necessary supplies
  • Greet & assist visitors

The candidate must have a polite and professional manner via phone and email and competence at Excel and Sage is preferred.

This role requires a hard worker who has keen attention to detail, the ability to use own initiative and multi-task; completing a wide variety of tasks simultaneously.
