Payroll Team Leader

We are recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader in the Birmingham area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Payroll Team Leader you will need to have/be:
  • CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Team Leader or experience of supervising/delegating to a team in a multi-disciplined organisation
  • The ability to prioritise and remain calm
  • Working under pressure to deliver against tight timescales
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with good attention to detail

  • Salary: £29,735.46 per annum (pro-rata)
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2020

Role of a Payroll Team Leader:
  • Manage and resolve complex payroll queries including NI and tax recalculations
  • Undertake reporting requirements for the team (internal and external) including Business Objects reporting and monthly audit of changes
  • Lead and motivate the team, communicating and addressing performance & development
  • Ensure the team meets service standards and performance against agreed targets (SLA's and KPI's)
  • Ensure work demands and available resources are effectively planned and managed
