Murphy have implemented a Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC) for the UK and Ireland which is a fundamental building block of Murphy's Ten Year Plan. The SSC provides the platform for cost savings and on-going performance improvement, including focussed continuous improvement in Finance and related business processes. This role will look after the management accounts of our Plant business, as well as other areas within the Group.

The Record to Report Analyst is responsible for:
* Conducting accounting activities relating to the maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger and management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Commercial interaction
* Processing information within the RTR area in line with Group Timetable and SSC SLAs
* Delivering timely and accurate information for external and internal reporting
* Performing other assigned General Ledger tasks of a routine nature under the direction of the RTR Manager

Skills and Experience:
CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent * Must have strong academic record and experience of working in Finance in a commercial business
* Knowledge of IFRS15 and FRS102 - depending on individual's role/tasks
* Strong RTR experience, preferably in a Shared Services environment
* Extensive knowledge of General Ledger processes
* Good knowledge of Finance ERP systems
* Construction Industry knowledge or industries with complex contractual arrangements would be advantageous
