Learning Support Assistant Job Description
·1-2-1 support role - happy Young Man in Year 3 - ASD
·Lovely Mainstream Primary School, Bolton, Greater Manchester
·ASAP start - interview/ trial day to be held ASAP
·Full time role for the entire academic year at least
·Would best suit an aspiring psychologist
·Matching A Levels and GCSE's in English, Maths & Science A-C graded needed
·Earn £300 to £325 per week plus additional benefits

This Learning Support assistant role will be a 1-2-1 ASD support role for a lovely and bright young man. This positive learner joined the school in 2016 and has made great progress with the support of the teachers, School SENCo and school Learning Support Assistants. One such Learning Support Assistant is leaving for a Masters course and so the hunt is on to find the ideal replacement.

The role will include in class support and coordination of the provision with parents, the class teacher, SENCo and some contact with the Borough Coordinator for SEN provision. This young man has made huge progress and it is hoped that you will have a chance to spend time in the school this side of the summer break in order to get to know him and the successful schemes of work that have been developed.

This mainstream school is a welcoming place of learning and you will find that every member of the team want the best for every learner. The needs of this young man are varied and will be best explained in a conversation and potential meeting/ interview / trial day at the school.
