The Role

This role requires you to lead on managing the subcontracting provision of the company with a focus on contract profiling, performance reviews, quality assurance and the provision of development support.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Lead on the management of LCG subcontracted provision, including all performance, compliance and contractual requirements

Lead and undertake a range of performance management activities on a rolling basis to ensure robust monitoring, improvement planning and long-term success

Lead contact performance meetings with subcontractors and report to findings to operational Directors.

Working with LCG operational leaders to profile recruitment and manage performance of the contracts

Collect and analyse MIS and contract performance data for subcontracted provision and work closely with internal stakeholders to manage and direct improvements in the provision

Prepare identified provision for Ofsted and other external audits as requested

Create an approach to raising standards and achieving excellence within our subcontracted provision

Participate in the development of the performance Framework working alongside other stakeholders

Undertaking a coaching role, as required, to drive improvements in contract performance , the learner experience and achievement rates

Provide guidance and undertake development activities to maintain and develop the quality of teaching, learning and assessment practice, including EPA learner readiness as appropriate

Undertake subcontractors' observations for the teaching and learning and learner walks as allocated by the Quality Assurance Manager

vTake an active quality role in the self-assessment and improvement planning process for subcontracted provision

Manage the performance and compliance review of our subcontract partners, including overseeing the due diligence process, risk rating and contract allocation for potential new partners

Manage establishing EPAO choices with subcontractors and oversee all associated processes across the learner journey leading to Gateway success

Provide subcontractors support and guidance to drive improvement in the learner experience and achievement rates

Working in partnership with the Head of Quality to review and update all policies relevant to your role

Report monthly to the Head of Quality and all other relevant stakeholders within your role

Undertake such duties as may be required commensurate with the level of responsibility and nature of the job in discussion with your Head of Quality

  • Knowledge of funding requirements in post 16 education within a variety of provisions including ESF, apprenticeships and traineeships
  • Knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework requirements, including subcontract provision
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards, including EPA process
  • Understanding of Prevent and Safeguarding Duty and Legislation
