Today we have five homes, four in the London Borough of Bromley, and one in Southwark and pride ourselves on providing exceptional person-centred care to all of our residents.

We now have exciting opportunities for a Senior Health Care Assistants to join our incredible team within our nursing homes.

You will work as part of a team providing quality, physical, emotional and spiritual support to our residents, transforming their daily lives and contributing to the efficient running of the home.

Summary of duties:

·Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals

·Contributing to residents' care plans, with a demonstrable understanding of holistic care

·Building effective relationships with relatives and next of kin in order to fully support the delivery of high-quality care to residents

Skills required:

To be considered for this post, you will ideally have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a Care Certificate.

Ideally you will have previous experience working in a nursing home environment and an understanding of dementia. However, if you`re new to the care sector mandatory training and the care certificate will be provided, but above all, a positive and can-do attitude is essential.

Working hours:

Mission Care currently has both full time and part time positions available (Please note that all roles include every other weekend).

Both day and night shifts are available.

The shift pattern is broken down into 3 days/nights on and 4 days off.
