SEN Teaching Assistant - Dartford - Supportive Primary School - Graded 'Good'

A mainstream Primary School are currently hunting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time, long-term basis for at least the rest of the academic year. We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with various students in KS1, all of whom have complex needs including ADHD, ASD & EBD. There is no personal care involved with any of the students, with the focus being academic achievement, social enrichment and development of fine motor skills.

To be eligible for any of the above roles you must have experience with SEN children in any capacity. Whether this experience is in another SEN Teaching Assistant role or working with children in another setting, we would love to hear from you.

Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will involve providing 1:1 support for child for the full academic year, helping them with their academic work, just as much as their social skills and fine motor skill. Depending on the severity and dependence of the child, it's likely you will be working within the mainstream classroom environment, engaging with other children in the classroom, some of whom may also have a variety of needs including Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism.

These SEN Teaching Assistant positions are all full-time, contracted for the entire academic year at a minimum. Please do not apply if you can commit to the role for the long-term, as your dedication is paramount to the child's development and success.
