Would you like to lead the IT Security Team for a Sunday Times 'Top 100 Employers to Work For' 2019 Financial Services solutions provider? We're looking for a skilled IT Security Manager, ideally with experience in the financial services sector, who is looking for their next career challenge.

Day to day you'll be responsible for the performance management and the development of the IT Security Team, and act as a key member of the IT leadership team. You'll be maintaining the IT Security Risk log as well as creating IT policies and doing all regular checks and monitoring related to security compliance. As part of the role you'll be integrating security into the design of new applications and services and ensuring that all audits and assessments are completed regularly and reported correctly.

You should be used to working in an Agile environment with extensive experience in an enterprise IT Security Manager role. You'll have a thorough understanding of infrastructure and application systems and the underlying architecture.

Essential Skills:
  • Extensive experience working as an IT Security Manager
  • Experience monitoring security systems such as AV and IDS
  • Detailed understanding of Compliance and Regulatory requirements
  • A good knowledge of Active Directory, IP Networks, Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Email/Exchange, and Patching
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure and application systems, the underlying architecture, and how application components integrate
  • Audit experience of third-party suppliers
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to translate complex technical information to non-technical users
  • ITIL V3 Foundation and ISO 27001 Certifications

Desirable Skills:
  • CISM and CISSP would be advantageous
  • Background in the Financial Services sector
