An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone, preferably with a background in Financial Services, to work with our forward thinking, modern client based in Edinburgh City Centre. The role we are supporting them in filling is for a Client Support Administrator, where the successful candidate will work closely with the Client Support Manager to support the business activities of both the Directors and the Advisers, and provide admin support to the allocated client base. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join an established financial company based in the City Centre of Edinburgh, as they look to grow the business over the next few years.

Job accountabilities:
* Input data as necessary on the client management system and update key information directly on to provider platforms
* Process and update new business effectively and accurately
* Carry out compliance checks and ensure all regulatory paperwork is in place
* Scan and upload information for each client onto the client management system fully and concisely
* Prepare both client valuations and fund breakdowns
* Obtain quotes both by email and over the phone
* Organise diary events on the system including client meetings and client communications
* Act as principle point of contact for allocated client base, providing a professional, friendly and efficient service at all times
* Carry out product research as and when directed by advisers
* Liaise with both investment and pension companies to prepare, review and submit new business requests
* Process investment purchase, sale and switch requests via the online platforms
* Ensure client applications are completely both correctly and compliantly at all times
* Liaise with internal advisers, product providers and their representatives
* Work with the advisers proactively to assist them in carrying out their jobs effectively
* Both maintain and enhance the companies reputation by being efficient, accurate and providing strong communication and first class working practices
* Followed the procedures as set out by the company and constructively contribute to their development

Experience, skills and knowledge required:
* Must be able to listen and respond to clients needs
* Must have a clear desire to assist clients and willingness to deliver an exceptional service at all times
* Must be articulate in all client communications avoiding the use of jargon
* Display a professional approach at all times
* Must be able to both cooperate with and proactively support colleagues
* A willingness to support others
* Provide positive and constructive communication
* Administer a private client base
* Work with and in support of Individual Financial Advisers
* Ability to use client portals for both investment and pension companies
* Administer investments via platform
* Sound knowledge and understanding of Financial Services products
* Aim to get things right first time, every time
* Demonstrate high standard of work ensuring numeracy and grammar errors are minimal
* Ensure all presentation of work is clean at all times

Desirable Skills:

* Studying toward IFA/Paraplanning/Financial Admin qualifications
* Sound understanding of Financial Services products
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
