Our clients provide facilities, property and energy management for a wide range of public and private sector businesses.
Our Client is currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer to join their Remedial Works Team in Berkshire and the South East.
Job objectives and responsibilities:Represent our client by carrying out work as detailed by the Remedial Works ManagerConduct yourself in a professional manner in support of our customers and work colleaguesTake responsibility to deliver a first class service for the customersTo deal with any priority remedial works following the legionella WRA or our non-conformance results (red reports) from our clients Water risk assessorsTo ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the agreed specificationTo lead each project and be responsible for client satisfactionTo assist in the development of a junior colleagueChecking paperwork and service standards completed by Environmental Service TeamCarry out allocated work within agreed time schedules, adhering to our clients Quality Management System and quality policy, and to the relevant industry guidelines and customer specificationsComplete reports and paperwork as instructed by the Remedial Works ManagerTake responsibility for your own training needs and bring them to the attention of the Remedial Works ManagerEnsure compliance with Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice
Main duties: Surveying clients sites and produce detailed plans as required, involving travel and overnight accommodation where neededWork in conjunction with the admin team to create a efficient and workable scheduleComplete projects so they can be signed off and are compliant with HSG 274Organise from start to finish remedial projects from WRAEnsure that you are performing to the required standard as detailed in the job descriptionBe available to training to enhance their capabilities and efficiencyProvide technical support to the regional service delivery teamEnsure that paperwork is completed correctly and handed in on time
Person Specification:NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Domestic Heating 6189, and any other relevant qualifications working within the Water Treatment IndustryProject management and task risk assessment / method statement productionHealth & Safety managementCommercial awarenessPlanning skillsCustomer care/relationship building skillsAbility to manage change successfullyPresentation skillsNegotiation skillsAble to work as a member of a teamAble to work without direct supervisionPhysically able to complete required dutiesFull driving licenceAble to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
