Real-time Information Systems
Key aspects of the Real-time Information Systems business are:

·Consulting with clients to determine how to use Real-time Information Systems to deliver business benefits.

·Designing, building and deploying solutions using Real-time Information Systems.

·Supporting and providing long term development and maintenance of clients' systems.

·Working in-house and on client sites to deliver the above services.
Key Responsibilities
Position/Job Title:Senior Systems Engineer
Reporting To:Principal Systems Engineer

Key Position Objectives:

·Undertake a wide range of tasks related to the design, implementation and delivery of Real-time Information Systems solutions, in the energy and infrastructure market.

Key Aspects of the Role

·Work with clients to identify solutions appropriate to them.

·Produce Requirements Specifications and Design Specifications.

·Develop Test Strategies and produce Test Specifications.

·Design and develop applications as part of Real-time Information Systems.

·Give clear, effective presentations to customers on status of their work.

·Investigate and resolve problems with Real-time Information Systems.

·Operate in accordance with Company policies and procedures;

·Lead a small team, developing others through mentoring.
Key Personal Attributes

·Degree/ HND in a computing related subject.

·Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

·Experience with several of the following technologies desirable: VBA, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Javascript JSON, Angular.

·Experience of Database Systems including Microsoft SQL Server.

·Good experience of Microsoft Server Operating Systems.

·Good technical knowledge of networks and related issues.

·Awareness of OSIsoft PI products (preferably including development using the OSIsoft development technologies)

·Good knowledge and understanding of upstream oil and gas and/or power generation.
