Are you an experienced quality technician? We are looking for a quality technician to be responsible for responding to quality issues found in supplier manufacturing facilities. From the initial concern the quality technician will confirm the problem and determine a short and long term action plan with the facility management and the supplier.

The objective being to ensure the manufacturing operations can continue operations without a detrimental impact to the process from a quality perspective. In conclusion the job manages the Corrective Action Process on Supplier Related Quality Issues.
  • You will be responsible and accountable for managing quality issues
  • This role will include initiating production and supplier driven containment activity (to ensure that production schedules are not prejudiced) reviewing and approving Corrective Action Plans.
  • Using 'site based' reporting systems this position will communicate corrective action details to ensure that the customer is totally confident in Containment and Final Corrective Action Plans.
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization.

  • The position requires a manufacturing background plus familiarity with manufacturing processes used to produce machined components and assemblies
  • Knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures would be beneficial.
  • Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative working relationship with others inside and outside of the business.
  • Previous experience of quality inspection would be a distinct advantage.
