The Security Company, a leading consultancy operating in the booming cyber security market, is looking for an e-Learning Course Developer / Content Management Administrator to join the team based in their beautiful countryside offices in Upper Dean (16 miles from Huntingdon, 14 miles from Bedford and 24 miles from Northampton, own transport is needed due to their rural location).

As our Course Developer / Content Management Administrator, you will be responsible for developing creative and engaging e-Learning courses in line with our clients' expectations as well as content management of bespoke knowledge portals.

Reporting to the Head of Projects and Delivery, you will be working collaboratively with content specialists, designers and project managers as part of a busy delivery team, working on multiple projects to deadlines and allocated budgets.
Applicants must be based within an easily commutable distance. Whilst there is flexibility to work from home one day a week, the role is based onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

e-Learning and Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Working with designers and content specialists in order to develop engaging e-Learning courses
  • Developing and delivering SCORM compliant eLearning courses to client LMS requirements
  • Building courses within Articulate Storyline, uploading and formatting content and animations
  • Quality checking and reviewing own and other team members' work to ensure eLearning courses are built to the highest standards
  • Attending client calls when required
  • Administration and contributing to the development of the internal LMS platform
  • Managing client's LMS accounts including creation and reporting

Content Management
  • Uploading and formatting content and imagery into the Content Management System (CMS)
  • Quality checking site functionality and site content (spelling and grammar)
  • Providing administrative support within SharePoint - uploading and formatting content and imagery through SharePoint web-portals
  • Carrying out statistics and analysis reporting
  • Providing face-to-face and remote CMS training to clients and staff

General
  • Supporting Project Managers and Delivery team in fulfilling client requirements
  • Assisting in the development and testing of new products
  • Working with the sales team to provide advice on technical requirements for tenders

About you:

Essential:
  • Proven experience working on commercial eLearning projects
  • A passion for learning technology
  • Knowledge of Articulate Storyline 2 and 360
  • Knowledge of learning technologies and their contribution to delivering blended employee learning solutions
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve existing or potential problems
  • Results orientated
  • Strong team player - engaging, confident and flexible in approach
  • Self-management and planning of your work schedule with a high level of accountability
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time delivering on deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and QC and testing skills

Desirable:
  • Knowledge and experience of LMS administration and management
  • Experience of scheduling work within a team
  • Knowledge of Javascript - to enhance eLearning course functionality

Software experience
  • Articulate Storyline 2 and 360
  • Website CMS systems
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Adobe Creative Suite
