Space Engineering Services - Packbuild

Main Purpose and Scope of the job

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be supporting Space Engineering Services by undertaking the following:

Key responsibilities and duties
  • Ensuring all work is completed on time and advising any issues to Team Leader;
  • Fill out job cards correctly;
  • Make sure you sign in when starting your shift and sign out when you finish;
  • Passing completed job cards to Team Leader;
  • Ensure you are wearing correct PPE for the type of job being completed;
  • Ensure your work area is kept clear and waste/ re-cycling put in appropriate bin;
  • When brazing the extraction system is being used and you are purging with OFN;
  • Ensure when welding, welding screens are used;
  • If applicable ensure fork lift job spec is adhered to as below:
  • Updating fork lift log daily and advising of any issues that need to be addressed to Stores Supervisor
  • Responsible for fork lift gas and diesel quantities
  • Filling out any documentation for dispatching of finished packs and materials;
  • Comply with company procedures;
  • Ensure that you complete at least one E-Learning module per month;
