Pin Point are recruting for a Quality Assurance Manager in the North West region.

To implement and monitor quality assurance processes in order to drive continuous improvements throughout the organisation and raise the stand ards of teaching, learning and assessment following the guidance laid out by Ofsted.

Key responsibilities: Quality Assurance

1. Implement and monitor as directed, the internal quality assurance processes in relation to;

- Internal Quality Audits (IQA)
- Observations of Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA).
- Observations of Controlled Assessments (OCA)
- Quality Assurance Audit
- Evaluation of learner and employer surveys

1. Support the training and development of individuals through the delivery of:

- On the job coaching and feedback sessions.
- Internal training courses in relation to L3 Award in Education and Training and Assessing Competence in the Workplace.
- Carrying out staff and associate induction process.

1. Provide support to workplace coaches through the delivery of ILM L3 coaching in the workplace.
2. To support the development of curriculums through the completion of desk top sampling of schemes of work, delivery plans and assessment material.
3. To effectively undertake the Designated Safeguarding Officers role by reporting and acting on referrals in relation to the welfare of vulnerable young children or adults. This should include but not limited to the wider issues laid out in the statutory guidance for schools and colleges- `keeping children safe in education` and the `Prevent Duty`.
4. To support the Quality Assurance Co-ordinator in the planning of external audit arrangements.
5. To act and undertake the role of `Deputy Quality Nominee` for Ofsted during the planning and inspection stages of the process.
6. To examine existing and prepare new information for an Inspection as directed by the Quality Assurance Director.
7. To support the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) process through;
8. Planning , compiling and generating evidence as required from key personal and stakeholders.
9. Contributing to the writing of the SAR
10. Driving continuous improvements through structured Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
11. Take an active part in operation meetings by providing an update on agreed responsibilities such as OTLA grades, CPD activities including standardisation events and progress towards QIP
12. Contribute effectively to the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) by supporting the evaluation of the overall effectiveness of the business and monitor progress through the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
13. Take an active part in Ofsted Inspections supporting the Quality Nominee in preparing the team for inspection and taking an active part in inspection activities and feedback sessions.
14. Support continuous improvements towards our information, advice and guidance
15. Carry out other reasonable duties delegated by Senior Directors.

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum
