On behalf of our client we are seeking to recruit a confident 1st Line IT Support Technician to join its ever Service Desk team.

Duties will include:

* Answering inbound telephone support calls

* Logging all relevant incident/service request details

* Providing first-line Triage; basic investigation and diagnosis

* Allocating correct categorisation and prioritisation codes

* Escalating cases

* Performing access management requests; standard user and email passwords

* Aim to achieve first contact resolution whenever possible with the customer

* Timely resolution of all assigned incidents

* Timely closure of all assigned incidents

* Conducting post resolution with Customer Satisfaction Survey

* Updating of systems

* Identify potential add-on business or remediation opportunities to pass on to Team Lead

Experience and qualifications required:

* Minimum GCSE English and Maths

* Genuine interest and passion for IT

* Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage

* Previous similar experience would be a definite advantage as would experience of managing and resolving client in Windows, MAC & 0365 via Remote Desktop technologies

Hours of work are:

8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday

8am to 5.30pm Friday

1 hour for lunch
