Our client is a global leader in the scientific life sciences industry and are seeking a Electrical & Instrument Maintenance Technician to plan, organize and complete maintenance activities, ensuring Engineering and EHS standards are maximized at all times.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will receive the following package:

THE CANDIDATE
Electrical & Instrument Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Technician / Technician
The Maintenance Technician will require the following knowledge:
* Time served technician with minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance activity
* Previous experience in Chemical industry and a good understanding of DSEAR and ATEX
* Understanding of ladder logic and PLCs
* Fault finding up to 415V
* C&G 2391-52 Testing Certificate
* C&G 2382-12 IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition
* CompEx 1-4 certification desirable
THE ROLE
Electrical & Instrument Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Technician / Technician
The Technician will have the following day to day responsibilities:
* Complete all activities / maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
* Complete assigned maintenance task / requests (breakdown, preventive, modification or project work) in line work order requirements and Permit to Work where required, ensuring completion within agreed timelines.
* Manage your personal work order list and seek guidance and support as necessary to complete the assigned activities. Work with and assist other technicians / contractors to ensure that the allocated task is completed safely and efficiently.
* Record all works in the site maintenance management system - ensuring if data is captured this is recorded correctly and aligned to the asset(s) to which it relates e.g. LEV flowrates. Ensure data is available in a timely manner to support department and site metrics (KPIs)
