We're delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join a successful Leicester business, known as a leading provider of training and support services within their specialist industry.

We'd love to hear from experienced applicants with a flair for managing CRM systems and delivering insightful data analysis. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, you will play an essential part in supporting and improving all client facing activities, meeting strategical sales and marketing objectives and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Using demographic, firmographic, content and behavioural data and insights to segment the client base and build personalised communications to clients
  • Working closely with the Head of Sales to build targeted client lists based on data and insights
  • Providing and cleansing data lists for marketing campaigns
  • Maintaining the data in the database, using Smart Lists to segment it for various audiences
  • Using knowledge of data acquisition to provide recommendations on how the business can constantly update and improve the volume and accuracy of data
  • Managing data in accordance with GDPR and PECR regulations, ensuring compliance with approved Data Protection framework
  • Managing a programme to constantly proactively cleanse the data
  • Working with colleagues to establish best practice data input and usage, providing training where required
  • Working as part of a project team to implement and integrate content marketing and marketing automation
  • Developing the data in order to get it ready for system integration and implementation
  • Differentiating between transactional and commercial data requirements and build the process and requirements for optimal CRM usage
  • Creating and maintaining data flow maps
  • Analysing data to deliver insights to the business, including report production and providing team managers with the data they require to market and sell to clients and prospects

Skills and experience required:
  • Strong, broad marketing analysis background, preferably with an IDM or CIM marketing qualification
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo, ideally with an understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Totara
  • Experience of using CRM and marketing automation systems and of inputting, extracting and migrating data from and between these systems
  • An ability to interpret overall marketing and sales objectives and manage client data to enable the business to achieve those objectives
  • Commitment to consistent Best Practice data management
  • Creativity in searching for and making recommendations to improve data quality and usage
  • Experience of a range of data acquisition and lead nurturing options and tactics
  • Data visualisation skills, with the ability to present data in a way that will enable colleagues to use it to inform business improvements and client experience improvements
  • Thorough understanding of all UK regulatory aspects of data and associated compliance procedures
  • Experience of progressing profiling and lead scoring
  • Curiosity and tenacity in working with colleagues across the business to support their projects with accurate data

Hours of work:
  • 37 hours per week

Salary and benefits:
  • £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
