Maintenance Supervisor required for leading manufacturer of specialist construction products. Over the last 25 years this company has gone from strength to strength gaining market share. Fantastic training opportunities and long term career development are available.

The successful candidate will be a maintenance supervisor or team leader with experience of leading a team of multi-skilled engineers. You can be mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled and all manufacturing backgrounds will be considered. Those from FMCG will be at an advantage. It is essential that you feel confident working both on the shop floor and in an office completing administration tasks. You will lead from the front, organizing weekend work and ensuring PPM schedules are adhered to.

The role itself oversees a team of 10 Engineers in total, 2 to 3 on any one shift. You will be responsible for identifying skill gaps within the maintenance team, identifying any reoccurring maintenance breakdowns and ensuring the PPM schedule is adhered to. The company have one main production line and so it is essential that faults are fixed as quickly and as efficiently as possible to keep the whole process moving. You will also have administrative responsibilities, ensuring all works are signed off, as well as ensuring stock levels kept full replenished this will involve dealing with suppliers.

The role:

* Manage and provide leadership to the Maintenance Team

* Ensure reactive breakdowns are dealt with quickly and efficiently and maintain PPM schedule

* Develop existing maintenance team, managing their training and development

* Completing office based administrative tasks such as stock control

The person:

* Hands on maintenance background (FMCG preferred)

* Previous team leader or supervisory experience or similar experience

* Computer literate
