Job title: Payments Team Leader

Locations: Huntersdale, Surrey

Working hours: Temp

Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Pay rate: £13.00 ph

The Role

Working as part of the Procurement and Payments team, this role will be the first point of contact for all account payable queries, ensuring prompt, accurate and timely payment of suppliers and other payments.

Duties:

* To optimise the efficiency of the payments function by identifying and implementing opportunities for greater productivity

* Manage all accounts payable queries

* Ensuring prompt, accurate and timely payment of suppliers and other payments.

* Processing of supplier invoices & staff expenses

* Processing payments to suppliers & staff

* Reconciliation of supplier statements.

Essential criteria

* Must have significant working knowledge and experience of accounting controls and procedures along with Account Payable processes.

* Experience of working with a finance system, i.e. Agresso and Proactis Invoice Capture is desirable.

* Must able to demonstrate ability to work under pressure, with high workload and to prioritise own work and that of others in order to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
