If you are a Registered Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration, Orchard Care Homes has something to offer you.

Reconnect is a specialist dementia care plan opening in selected Orchard Care Homes across the UK. Ashlea Lodge has been chosen as one of the first Reconnect facilities with 18 beds. The home has received significant investment in dementia-specific features and requires specialist therapists with experience and dedication to delivering care to those living with dementia.

You will have what it takes to nurture, encourage and care. Making a meaningful contribution to someone's life is fulfilling, demanding, requires flexibility, professionalism and skills. You will pay attention to detail, assist with developing personalised care plans, be a good listener, care for your residents and liaise with their families.

Developing and implementing individual nursing care plans, risk assessments, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks including DoLs. You will demonstrate a caring nature towards others, utilising your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide guidance, you will be assessing, planning and delivering quality personalised care that ensures everyone is treated with dignity and that individual's rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.

Dispensing and administering medication as prescribed, you will accurately maintain appropriate records in line with legislative guidelines and will carry out stock control (including ordering prescribed medication and medical products for the home).

You will maintain NMC professional registration and standards; acting as a resource of information on NMC codes of practice including professional conduct, scope of professional practice, standards of administration of medicine, record keeping standards and exercise accountability.
