Service Engineer for Machinery. Electrical Bias preferred. Could suit a Maintenance Engineer with machinery experience. Great rates when on-site with a customer giving fantastic earning potential.

Futures are now recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a very well established Wakefield based special purpose machine manufacturer. Either Service Engineers with an Electrical bias who are experienced at fault-finding could be well suited, or a Maintenance Engineer with experience of working in a fast paced production facility who is looking to work as a field-based Service & Commissioning Engineer could be as equally well suited.

Key aspects of the role include

* Build and service a range of field-based machinery. Full training will be given on the clients machine's and you'll be able to shadow an experienced Service & Commissioning Engineer
* Provide quotations for spares and any extra service work
* Travel to sites in the UK & Internationally. UK work only. To give you a rough guide; maybe 1-2 stop overs per week in the UK, larger jobs may take 1-2 weeks to commission and may occur every couple of months in the UK
* Any knowledge of fault finding on PLCs will be advantageous.
* Some weekend working may be expected for client shutdowns (at excellent rates!)

Must be based local to Wakefield so Leeds, Dewsbury, Halifax, York, Selby, Castleford, Sheffield or Doncaster
