Our client is hiring candidates to be part of the team within a global leader in the gaming and lottery industry. The candidate will be working within the IT department as part of the network team headed by the company's CTO, ensuring the candidate will remain up to date with the latest technologies within the role and receive excellent training.

The role will involve management of current networks and the candidate will maintain operations of both internal and customer facing IT systems and infrastructure. Applicants must able to manage complex technical environments and communicate effectively both with customers and business vendors, whilst providing skilled technical assistance and solutions to network engineering and architecture.

  • Direct and maintain multi-site enterprise networks
  • Must be available to travel within the UK and Europe
  • Manage technical relationships with customers and cooperate with their technical resources
  • Create and maintain network IT environments
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide meetings with the international, software development and internal IT teams

  • Minimum 2 years technical experience
  • System and network monitoring experience
  • Client facing experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience configuring Cisco routers and switches
  • Experience with wireless and cellular communications (GPRS/EDGE)
  • ADSL and DSL experience
  • Project participation, analytical problem solving skills, and research and system integration
  • Experience with software and hardware installation
  • CCNA or CCNA Voice

Desirable Skills:
  • MPLS configuration knowledge
  • Experience with Cisco ASA, Check Point, Juniper and HP
  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager
