Secondary Female PE Teacher required for Brilliant Independent School in Greater Manchester

I am currently working with an independent school in North Manchester that are looking for a Female PE Specialist to join them from September 2019 on an initial temporary basis with the view to transition onto a permanent contract from either October 19 or January 2020.

The Role...

You will;

Be expected to plan, prepare and deliver the PE Curriculum at Key Stages 3 & 4
Work closely with the Head of Department to constantly develop and implement themes of work.
Set home working and follow the school's policy on marking, providing and delivering pupil feedback
Plan and record actions and outcomes in relation to set pupil targets
Be a role-model to all pupils through your professional conduct
Establish effective working relationships with your work colleagues in the interest of the schools learning community and network.

Person Specification...

In order to succeed as a PE teacher at this Bury School, you will;

Hold QTS in PE and have a previous record of successfully delivering the English curriculum up to GCSE
Have a genuine passion to work with Secondary aged pupils and drive forward pupil attainment
Have experience working within, or knowledge of SEND/SEMH
Be able to motivate and inspire all pupils of all abilities
Some KS2 experience would be preferable but not essential.
Have a sound knowledge and understanding of key issues regarding pupil assessment
Preferably have Swimming & Hockey teaching experience
Some experience of teaching Netball would also be preferable
