Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: Up To £45,000 Per Annum

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced qualified Finance Manager to join their fast-growing team in Poole. They are a specialist provider of IPTV, Video on Demand and digital signage software designed specifically to meet the requirements of closed communities including corporate, retail, education and hospitality.

Your role will be assisting the Group Financial Controller in managing the finance function and ensuring the team is organised, efficient and produces accurate and timely management accounts.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
  • Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Preparation of global VAT/GST returns
  • Ensuring the accuracy of monthly P&L and balance sheet transactions with thorough reviews and reconciliations
  • Consolidation of group management accounts
  • R&D reporting and capitalisation in line with IFRS standards
  • Sales commission reports and quarterly statements
  • Dealing with complex queries from other finance team members
  • Critically reviewing and resolving purchase and sales ledger anomalies
  • Overseeing group payroll including pension reporting. To liaise with global payroll providers to ensure accuracy of reports and statutory obligations are met.
  • Management of group support renewals system
  • To manage the finance team in the absence of the group financial controller
  • Monthly stock margin reporting
  • Adhoc finance reports for management
  • Assisting with group audit

Requirements of the Finance Manager:
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years previous financial experience.
  • Experience of working in a group multi-currency operation
  • Sage 50/200 experience, or in the alternative be able to demonstrate a good understanding of a recognised accounting systems;
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and be able to demonstrate experience in the production of complex spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Confident and professional with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment;
  • Excellent communication skills internally and externally;
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach.
