We are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join a well-established and friendly company based in St Albans.

The company are market leaders in design, sourcing, marketing and distribution - offering a design to delivery service, working with key national retailers and several brands.

The successful candidate will be supporting the credit control department within a young, vibrant and social team! Ideally you will have at least 1 years' admin experience with a keen interest in finance. The opportunity would be well suited to a college or Uni leaver looking to build on their skills and experience in accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing new customer account forms including; verifying the business entity and running credit reports
  • Updating existing customer accounts
  • Reconciliation and allocation of self-billed customer accounts
  • Daily paying in process; Posting of multi-currency sales receipts
  • Reconciliation of receipts against customer accounts
  • Raising delivery discrepancy reports and tracking progress through to completion
  • Daily downloads including reconciliation and allocation between the payments received and internal invoices raised
  • Weekly reconciliation and allocation between the payments received
  • Allocation of internal accounts, including staff sales and cash accounts
  • Raising non-stock Invoices and credits

What the Employer is looking for;
  • At least 1 years' admin focused experience
  • A keen interest in finance, naturally numerical
  • Good Microsoft skills including basic Excel
  • Good clear and concise communication skills
  • Attention to detail

What's in it for you;
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:45am to 5pm with a 45min lunch, Friday 8:45am to 4pm with a 1 hour lunch
  • Salary: £18k-£20k per annum depending on experience
