You will: - Conduct covert online, technical and network activity to identify criminal networks and developments in criminal conduct in trademark, copyright infringements and piracy. - Continuously seek new methods to identify and disrupt pirate networks and activity. - Provide regular updates to the Anti-Piracy team on new and emerging threats and opportunities to enhance and improve our capabilities. - Implement, develop and maintain procedures and equipment for online covert and test purchase examinations of devices used in Piracy. - Compile reports of activity and ad-hoc reports as required by management. - Assist as necessary in the provision of piracy training and awareness to other business areas , Law Enforcement and Government agencies. - Support investigations into any criminal or inappropriate activity affecting the business such as trademark and copyright infringements including piracy. - Represent the business and present evidence in hearings, tribunals or courts as required. - Contribute towards the training and development of self, team and colleagues by undertaking study and training aimed at enhancing and maintaining relevant knowledge. You'll have: - Covert internet investigations experience\/ qualifications - Network investigation experience\/qualifications - Ability to work and communicate effectively with highly technical as well as non-technical staff - Knowledge of content streaming and Piracy technology - Good knowledge of standard office IT packages and experience in learning bespoke IT software - Good listening, oral and written communication skills - Proactive and self-motivated with a desire for continuous improvement - Experience of learning new procedures within a team and working in a changing environment - Consistently demonstrates personal integrity, confidentiality and professionalism. Confident, assertive and professional in dealing with the business, industry and stakeholders whilst working with sensitive information.
