Bamboo Childcare are currently recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader on behalf of our client - a beautiful (but busy!) private day nursery setting based near the area of Crosby in Liverpool. The role is available on a full time, permanent basis - 40 hours a week across Monday to Friday. The nursery is open from 7.30am to 6pm and you would be expected to work an 8 hour shift between these hours. The position will initially be based with children aged 1.5 to 3, but we're looking for a good all-rounder who is ideally happy based in any room of the nursery.

The nursery is a family run business - it was founded in 1925 and is situated in a listed building with extensive grounds. The management team which you would be joining are committed to helping you progress in your career, and in turn, your positive attitude towards the job will be integral to guiding our children's future.

Responsibilities:

Planning a creative and playful curriculum with colleagues in line with EYFS
Planning EYFS activities
Observing, supporting and encouraging children's learning in a stimulating, fun environment
Communicating with parents/carers about their little one's development and keeping them involved
Working with Tapestry Online Journal to build a learning journey for your key children
Managing staff in your room - displaying strong leadership skills and being able to think on your feet.
Requirements:

Level 3 qualified
Has at least 3-year childcare experience
Has at least 2-year leadership experience of a large team
Has a good knowledge of EYFS
Can demonstrate a can-do attitude wanting to create a brilliant experience for our children
Has the ability to work well as part of a team with shared responsibilities
