An idyllic estate near York is currently recruiting for a Cash Management and Bursar's Administrator to join their finance team. Initially, this will be a fixed-term contract with a view to go permanent for the right person. An immediate start is preferred.

The successful candidate will manage the cash requirements of the business, ensuring tight controls along with providing administrative support for school finance-related matters.

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, the successful Cash Management and Burser's Administrator will be responsible for the following:
  • Managing petty cash; ensuring cash is maintained at all times, reconciliation, management of distribution
  • Manage cash gift vouchers
  • Maintaining cash machines and change machines
  • Preparation and distribution of bulk cash requirements
  • Bursar's administration

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience in a Cash Management or Cashier role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and experience using Sage would be advantageous, but training can be provided.

The successful Cash Management and Bursar's Administrator will have excellent attention to detail and will be a confident communicator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious estate on a contract to permanent basis. This role is commutable from York, Harrogate, and surrounding areas.
