A fantastic role has arisen to join our client based in Warrington, there is a need to bring on an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team based in Warrington. The successful candidate will support the Sales Ledger and will focus on building relationships with the companies partner, keeping on top of notifying and chasing any debt and assisting with invoice and cost related queries from both the companies partners and business manager.

Main Duties
  • Accurate raising and issuing of all invoices through sage
  • Accurately recording of any customer receipts
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Build and develop relationships with the companies partners
  • Chasing and escalating any aged debt
  • Answering any invoice related queries in a timely manner
  • Providing support to the operations department in preparing and interpreting costings
  • Assisting and covering the Finance team with preparation of site profit and loss accounts
  • Adhoc duties supporting the wider business


Key Skills and Attributes

Essential:
  • Experience of working with an accounts department is essential, minimum of 1 year
  • Advanced Excel; vlook ups and pivot tables are essential
  • Professional and can-do attitude with a customer focus
  • High attention to detail
  • Can work well in a team or alone


Desirable:
  • Previous Sales Ledger experience is desirable
  • Sage experience is desirable
  • Studying towards your AAT
