We are recruiting for a school in Blackburn, it's a pupil referral unit on the outskirts of Blackburn town centre. It currently holds places for KS3 pupils excluded from Blackburn schools. They have a few opportunities coming up after the Easter half term break.

You would be required to:
Undertake and deliver a variety of high quality structured educational/activities package with young children who have SEBD, as specified in their individual educational plans and service proposals.

Promote and ensure the safety and well-being of children in accordance with good practice and the policies and procedures of the organisation.
Manage delegated tasks within the organisation, as defined by senior staff.

Main duties will include:
  • Supporting children on a 1-2-1 basis or small groups
    * Acting as a support to the teacher when working in a group setting

Times for the school are 8:30 - 4 MONDAY TO FRIDAY!
