Bradford Based SEN Primary School seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant starting Early September 2019

Your new School
This lively SEN Primary School is looking to expand their support network for SEN students within KS2, now advertising this exciting opportunity for a driven SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team for a temp-based contract. You will be working 3-4 days per week, with this contract running until Christmas with the possibility of an extended contract.

Your new role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for supporting students with a range of SEN including; Behavioural difficulties, ADHD and ASD. You will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis, focusing on their academic and social progression with the support of the class teacher. You will occasionally assist in the day-to-day running of class-based activities and provide cover when the class teacher is occupied.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally hold a Level 2 Teaching assistant qualification or higher, however this is not a necessity. You will require demonstrated experience having worked with and supported students with SEN in the classroom, further demonstrating experience providing 1:1 support for SEN students. The ideal. You will be committed and driven to helping KS2 students develop both academically and socially, possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
